The sun is low over the bottom field as I drive home tonight. I park at the end of the driveway and wander into the sea of crimson clover.

Bower Bees

I find out that the beekeepers' current challenge is not new. Apparently, they have been experiencing these abnormally high attrition rates for the last 15 years, and are only now getting press.

I'm glad and grateful to see the bees on the farm buzzing from flower to flower.
